    This is a closed convent so don't expect to be allowed in apart from being able to walk upstairs to the tiny shop. You ring the bell and after a while a nun dressed in white will open a hatch and sell...

    Don't waste your time if you're looking for the marzipan tour

    We were referred to the Monastery of San Clemente by Fodor's Spain 2015 guidebook. It mentioned this as a favorite place to buy marzipan and also tour the kitchen to learn how it's made by the nuns. ...
