However, the fact that I only saw it from the mountain Viewpoint did not diminish that fact that I was fortunate to see the Dixmude and the CDG in port, which was great
The great Tulom
I loved it. I loved seeing the site of Napoleon Bonaparte's first victory and the uniforms he wore. Plus my daughters loved the ships.
Oui to Charcuterie and Wine, No to Pleasantries
Toulon is spectacular to see in person and take in the sights. A charcuterie board is a must as is a nice glass of wine. Toulon did not disappoint, but they are not known to be overly friendly!
Nice day trip out
We arrived off a day trip on a cruise ship. We enjoyed our time here walking around the harbours and area, as well as day trips to other parts of the bays. The harbour is a working one with a number...
