This historical church offers nice view and knowledge of the Greek history throughout the centuries.
A great hike with a great view at the end
We were staying in Kardamili for two days during a tour of Greece and was told by our guide that the hike to see the church was worth it. Boy was she spot on, the hike took about a hour on a rocky pat...
Great walk.
A medium light walk from Kardamili and back. Total about 2 houers. Very nice in springtime. You can also go to the next village and down to Kardamili. Beautiful !!
Wonderful Hike
There is a reasonably well marked hike past the Kardamyli fortified old town and up to the church. The views are top class the whole way, with some unexpected sights. Walk on past the church and back ...

My wife and I visited Greece May 10-26, 2018, and on May 17 we hiked up to this church. Awesome. We took the long way up and around and it was worth every step. Bring water, snacks, and a map.
