If you just want to see pandas and not for the internet-famous spots, Bifengxia is the most suitable place to do so. There's no need to queue, and you can see lots of 🐼; after seeing the pandas, you can go for a hike. I've checked in at Bifengxia and Shangli Ancient Town. I have to say that watching pandas in Bifengxia is really good. There are few people and you can watch them up close. The environment is also very good. I don't recommend Shangli Ancient Town. It's not worth going out of your way to play. A small guide: take the intercity train from Chengdu South Station to Ya'an Station in the morning, 54/person, about an hour and ten minutes. When you arrive, take a taxi to Bifengxia, about 50 for two people. It's more cost-effective to share a ride if there are more people. When you get to Bifengxia, go to the restaurant next to the visitor center for lunch. I recommend the black fish slices for 68/portion. The taste is quite good. The Ya fish is a bit expensive. If there are many people, you can try it. It's more cost-effective. After eating, go to see the pandas. The ticket includes a sightseeing car. It will take you from the visitor center to the panda protection center. However, the small sightseeing car at the panda protection center is not included. You need to buy a separate ticket at the entrance of the protection center. The round trip is 20/person. Then you can watch the giant pandas sleep, eat, and fight up close. Hahahaha, it's so interesting. By the way, I saw a chestnut tree on the way. There are fallen chestnuts. The ripe ones can be eaten. There are quite a few. After watching the pandas, we took the sightseeing car to the right canyon. The right canyon is relatively easy. The whole journey is 2.5km. It takes about an hour to finish. The scenery is also very good. If you have good physical strength, you can go to the left canyon. The scenery is also different. If you have enough time, you can finish both canyons together. It should take 6-7 hours. After playing, go to the entrance of the scenic area and take a small yellow car to Huanglong. When you get to Huanglong, take a small yellow car to Shangli Ancient Town. We went to Shangli Ancient Town for a walk. It's not fun. I don't recommend it. The small yellow car is also hard to wait for.

Due to the unique requirements for the breeding environment of ya fish, the low survival rate of natural reproduction, coupled with the influence of human factors, the number is very small, and has been listed as the second-class protected fish in Sichuan Province. There are various legends about ya fish. According to legend, the niece is in the sky, and a sword falls into the river and turns into a yak, so there will be a spur like a sword in the head of the fish, a hilt, a sword handle, The blade is almost alive. Any other fish is not available, so Sichuan Ya'an people also call it swordfish. This sword has also become a symbol to identify the authenticity of the yak fish. "There is a sword, it is true, and no sword is a fake." So eating ya fish, looking for the sword in the fish head is also a very interesting experience.
