The gorgeous greenery here serves as the iconic embodiment of Bali's lush, verdant interior. These picturesque rice paddies are a must visit, like the Taj in India or the Great Wall in China.
Beautiful and pleasant place to stop by. Choose proper shoes if you want to explore the area. A lot of restaurants with great view over the rice paddies.

This is one of the more famous rice terraces in and around Ubud. Always full of tourists. Relaxing in the middle of green paddy fields. Enjoy a swing right in the midst of verdant greenery and feel yo...
The famous Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud, Bali is one of the most popular photo-taking spots for influencers in the last 2 years. It is located on the way to the Tirta Empul Temple. The road going downhill from the Rice Terrace isn’t easy to walk. Some are really steep. If you are in slippers take extra care here. Even though this rice terrace is nothing in comparison to what we have in China, the palm trees and straw huts dotted in between also have that unique character, typically seen in tropical areas. From some angles it looks particularly similar to tea gardens in Sri Lanka. There are some huts up in the middle of the mountain offering shade and reset to tourists. The majority of them produce Kopi luwak, an Indonesian specialty. This expensive coffee is defecated by the Asian palm civet, which eats coffee beans. Well... Well, I didn’t drink it. Perhaps it’s because the scenery is too nice. When you are taking photos be sure to keep an eye out for what’s below on the ground, else you’ll easily sink into mud. Your whole foot would sink in and you can’t pull yourself out.
We suggest visiting the terrace when the morning sun is just about to hit. At that point there aren’t too many tourists and the lighting is great. You’ll be able to shoot beautiful photos.

Give your heart a vacation, take your parents away from the city and enjoy the pastoral life. The best destination is the famous Degralang Terraces in Bali, Indonesia. Located north of Ubud, the coconut trees and majestic volcanic backgrounds make it unique among the world's countless terraces. Swing in the rice fields, take pictures in the colorful heart-shaped cards, and turn the days into poems.

Introduction
The Tegalalang Rice Terraces feature in countless postcards and photographic works, including the novel "Eat, Pray, Love", and Jay Chou's music video, "Taoxiang." Here tourists can get a close-up look at a tropical landscape. Terraces roll down the mountain, while flowing mountain streams irrigate the rice fields below. The patties are dotted with countless coconut trees and surrounded by beautiful green hills.
