A Chinese palace lantern hung under the dragon head, and an old-fashioned umbrella hung under the lamp, making it feel like a shop selling umbrellas. That's right, this building built in 1858 was originally an umbrella shop. Architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas refurbished its facade in 1883. The walls were decorated with oriental umbrellas and fans, and stained glass and Japanese figure paintings were used below. Now it is rented by a bank and has become a business outlet.
La Casa Bruno Cuadros was once an umbrella shop located on La Rambla. It was marked by an ornate dragon with an umbrella, mounted on the front of the building. The dragon still remains today and is a famously known icon in Barcelona.
The home furnishings are very chic, very Spanish.
It's really a good place, very easy to visit
