Sunrise is one of the five wonders of Alishan. The transpiring mountain mist drifts between the dawn, dyed into an endless sea of clouds; the graceful sunrise rising from the darkness on the top of the mountain attracts tourists from all over the world. Since many tourists come here every day, more people come to watch the sun on holidays. In view of this, the local forestry bureau has built a total of four observation decks, 1 large and 3 small, for everyone to enjoy the sunrise.
