The Children’s Museum of the National Folk Museum of Korea

Loved the interaction and hands-on activities. The host was very friendly and helpful - explaining to the kids (Korean and sign language) as best I could. The theme of the museum changes from time to time and therefore is different from our last visit here (June 2017). There is also a cafe but closed for renovation. The outside garden and play area is perfect for kids to run and explore.

In order to explore and express the theme, children and adults watch and assemble display items directly, so as to cultivate children's creativity and problem-solving ability, the Children's Museum has more than 100 items, covering art galleries, the world of bats, children's radio, scientific exploration, human exploration, social and cultural comparison and other 10 areas, and has six education projects, such as infant and child schools, drama schools and so on. 。 Every month, the museum also holds colorful cultural and learning activities.

The Children's Museum is one of the largest places in Korea. There are many children's items in the museum, including some props used in infancy, and some small clothes and toys are fun.
