Taupo Museum

This is a very small museum, student tickets are 3 yuan. There are only four exhibition areas, and there are not many exhibitions, but they are all distinctive. The artworks in Africa are impressive, and in addition, Lake Gallery is not bad, narrating the history of the development of Lake Taobo, the reclamation of the deep forest and other history.

The Lake Taupo Museum is a small museum located on the shore of Lake Taupo on the North Island of New Zealand, next to i-SITE. There is no special display in the museum, mainly about the history of the lake and related artworks. Unless there is extra time to pass, there is no need to enter.

The museum includes documentary films reflecting Taobo's history, Maori artworks, salmon farming industry, ships used in Taobo, etc. For children, there are various interactions and activities. Exhibitions will be changed from time to time in the two galleries, displaying and selling contemporary New Zealand paintings, sculptures, photography and other works. Adults $5, children free, visitors come not much.
