Visited our family's old lonely cottage after years in this trip of India. Memories of childhood came running. Darjeeling, Queen of hills! The freshly baked biscuits and steaming hot tea, narrow curvy lanes and flights of stairs running up and down everywhere, the foggy, cold winter weather and frosty water of mornings..ah! everything about this place is magical.

The most unique experience in India, travel around Darjeeling by train? Unlock the niche new game
first strange city, I like to go deep into the city. The station here is casual, there is no security checkpoint, there is no inquiry, and the entrance is the platform. Just like the condensed open-air market, the sound of screaming, jokes, and railroad tracks are intertwined.
The teenagers in the bamboo basket above the head, running along the track, grabbing the railing and flying on the car. Different from the hanging train pictures mentioned in the news, the locals are more in a chaotic and orderly line.
Tips: Indian trains are graded, almost AC1

India's World Heritage Site - Darjeeling Himalaya Railway
take the 19th century miniature four-wheel steam train, the ancient sound of the smoke. It takes 8 hours to sway through the city streets, green valleys and lush forests from the ancient city of Xi Ligu, 100 meters above sea level at the foot of the eastern foothills of the Himalayas, and then in a series of columns, criss-crossing, zigzag, ring-shaped great design, along 2 feet narrow rail, climbed all the way to Darjeeling (2200 meters above sea level), which is famous for producing high quality black tea. Is there anything more attractive than this?
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) As an old antique in the British colonial period, it is one of the earliest railways in India and one of the few high-altitude railways in India that are still operating. Although the railway is 100 years old, it is still considered a classic of the Panshan railway system. The bold and innovative design solves the problem of establishing an efficient transport railway through the rugged mountains, while retaining the original natural features of the area and being included in the World Heritage by UNESCO.

The City of Sky, the Greater Himalayas of India, is quietly situated on the top of the majestic mountain. Once, there was infinite brilliance, and now, its figure is so lonely and lonely. Ascend to the top of a mountain and stand on the snow-capped mountains overlooking the entire Himalayas. The view is extremely wide and the scenery is spectacular. Especially in the early morning, the houses in the village, accompanied by the lingering clouds, are like a dreamy natural scenery.
There is no rich land around here, only a quiet birch forest, surrounded by the village. However, when the morning sun shines through the distant snow-capped mountains, it blooms with a dazzling light; when the quiet stream flows through the jungle. The wonderful sight is fascinating.
