Located in the border between Sukoharjo and Wonogiri Regency, Laskar Pelangi Hill definitely attracts visitors from both the regions. The first reason to visit the hill is definitely to enjoy trekking. The starting point is either at Malangan or Kedungsono Village. The thing is the route is challenging and natural.
Despite the challenging route, everyone would be able to enjoy trekking to their heart’s content. It is because the panoramas look wonderful and the atmosphere feels comfortable up there. If they come at night, especially, they are able to witness the sparkling lights of nearby villages and stunning stars in the sky.
It is true the trekking route is challenging, but it doesn’t take much time to reach the top of the hill. Laskar Pelangi Peak is also suitable for camping. One thing, you should be smart in choosing the camping spot if you want to spend the night comfortably. In this case, it is recommended to come with a local guide who knows the site well.
