燃烧生命的小胖妞Death Valley in Namibia is located in a white depression in Sussri, where there is no grass and no signs of life, so it is named. Death Valley is not always so dead. More than 900 years ago, there used to be rivers and vegetation grew vigorously. But something happened later, and the sand dunes moved here, blocking the river from passing. Coupled with climate change, there is no rainfall all year round, and the trees and grasses here quickly die.
优的良仕Because we came in from the south gate of the park, the first camp we will stay in tonight is Okaukuejo, which is located in the south of the park. The water hole in this camp is the best. Judging from our experience in the past few days, this water hole There are the most animals, not only during the day and more at night, but there are also hard-to-find animals such as rhinos. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone stay in this camp for one night.
We booked a double row house at the camp. The conditions are good, with hot water, air conditioning, and the room is relatively large. I personally feel that this room is enough. Although the single houses next to the puddle are better, the camp is actually not big. You can reach the puddle in a few steps. There are many chairs by the water hole for tourists to rest and admire the animals. We were lucky tonight. We saw rhinos right away, but we didn't come again after eating. According to friends, there were more animals late.
In order to shoot the sunrise in the morning, get up early and see what animals come to drink water by the way. Unfortunately, the animals seem to be lazy and there is nothing to see at this time.
The swimming pool is good. You can also swim in the camp by setting up your own tent, but the temperature at night is relatively low, so not many people swim. Dinner is usually a buffet, 230 nap per person, there are not many choices, not as good as the Red Desert hotel, but only this one, so there is no way to pay more.
事事随缘It feels like the style of a western blockbuster, an absolute internet celebrity landmark, it seems to be a place prepared for shooting a blockbuster on the road, especially at sunrise in the morning or sunset at dusk. The beauty is messy, the broken old cars are genuine and they are old. It seems decadent, but in fact it is intriguing, and it matches the scene perfectly! And it’s near the sign of the Tropic of Capricorn, it’s very meaningful and worth a visit
See the world freely
Sossusvlei means "the gathering place of water" but you'll need to bring your own if you don't want to dehydrate at this, Namibia's most outstanding attraction.
The dunes have developed over millions of years, the result of material flowing from the Orange River into the Atlantic, carried north and returned again to land by the surf. Climbing the dunes yields breathtaking views, including the Deadvlei, a ghostly expanse of dried, white clay punctuated by skeletons of ancient camelthorn trees.
Sossusvlei is undeniably one of the best vacation spots in Nambia.
It is a clay and salt pan located within the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
It is characterized by red dunes that roll, rising and falling, across a wide expanse of land.
They form as a result of the rare rain that reaches the usually dry desert land.
Some flora and fauna linger around this area, having adapted to the rough conditions, but it’s when moisture seeps its way into the environment that it truly flourishes.
A lake forms in Sossusvlei, coaxing thousands of birds to the location in an impressive spectacle.
Very beautiful place, I highly recommend it.

Back in 2014 when I visited Namibia in South Africa. I would never forget the domestic plane ride going to Luderitz, Namibia. The plane only goes to to the town once a week. and it’s a coastal town at the end of the dessert where the Namib dessert meets the sea. Everything was picturesque. from the dessert to the town and the ocean. And the people are very friendly, would definitely go back if i had the chance.
I leaf my camera at deadvlei whole night for star shooting and I picked up in the morning. Luckily, I got this photo which same as my expectation.
We traveled to a remote area without light pollution and enjoyed the starry night under this beautiful arch
Visiting Pahrump in the Death Valley of the United States of America. It is very hot during the day, but gets rather chilly at night. Such a unique landscape. But bring plenty of water. #wintergetaway
Sossusvlei is the ultimate bucketlist destination for the world traveller! Each day the sun rises and we have the choice to sleep in and keep dreaming or get our of bed and make them happen!
There is nothing better than seeing elephants in the wild at their wateringhole. A safari in Namibia is an unforgetteable experience!
It is an island at the far eastern tip of Namibia, bounded on the north by the waters of the Zambezi river and on the south by the Chobe River. The most unique African experience. And it has two of the best places to stay one being ichingo lodge the other being their sister house boats. All game viewing and activities are done on the water so if you are doing the land safaris this will give you a whole different perspective as all the animals come to you. Amazing place.
