derricGoing to the park coincides with the annual summer lighting festival. This lighting festival is held in the park every night from December to February of the following year. It is completely free and very fun.
The whole park is decorated like a Midsummer Night’s Dream, very dreamy, especially for many children with well-designed facilities, and they are very happy to play
The cruise ships on Amber in the center of the night are all decorated with night lights
HomerotuIt was almost 8 o'clock in the evening, and the sunset in New Zealand was very late in early summer. It was still bright at this time, but the afterglow of the setting sun could be slightly captured from the distant house and the clouds in the sky. The location is on the long Tasman coastline, on the way back from Okurukuru to New Plymouth, an unknown seaside pasture with a large green lawn. There is only one character, or in other words, only one, the white horse of the godly horse, glancing at me from afar, and approaching me in small steps curiously, from serious looking, to deep thinking, to slowly turning around, Finally left a proud and independent back. In this situation, I couldn't help but think of the sentence, "The gap between the world of life, like a white horse, suddenly disappears."

New Plymouth is a city on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island. It’s known for its coastal walkway stretching from Bell Block to Port Taranaki. Te Rewa Rewa Bridge has views of towering Mount Taranaki. The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery shows contemporary exhibitions. Close by, Pukekura Park has botanical gardens and birdlife. Subalpine forests and waterfalls characterise Egmont National Park to the south.
My friends brought me here to see the scenery, they said it is the most beautifull beach they have near them. I agree! There’s just sonething about the ocean that makes you feel so calm and at peace. 😊
Mount Taranaki is a dormant volcano, also known as Mount Egmont. Because its shape is a very symmetrical cone, and it looks like Mount Fuji in Japan, it is called the Mt. Fuji in the southern hemisphere. The film "The Last Samurai" used to take pictures here and pretend to be Mount Fuji.
One of the good places to watch the mountain is called Te Rewa Rewa Bridge. Another name for this bridge is: White Bridge. Shaped like a fishbone, it is in a straight line with Mount Taranaki. Standing at one end of the bridge, you can see the snow-capped mountains through the bridge. The design is very clever.
This is still the starting point of a 7km coastal walkway. I didn't go because of the time, but I heard a passing old lady telling me that this trail can see both the sea and the new Plymouth city. Today's weather is not the best weather to watch the snowy mountains. The mountains are always hazy, and the southern hemisphere's Mount Fuji is not willing to reveal its true colors. So I was on this bridge for an hour, and finally I hoped to see the snow-capped mountains.
is the old lady mentioned earlier. I walked back and saw that I was still waiting here. I boasted that I was patient. So we talked about it. She came to New Zealand for two years because the beauty here has been left. Chatting and talking about the snow-capped mountains, the kind of spectacle is not expressible by the photos. After a while, the sun was slanting and the sun was getting better. At that moment, I really hope that I can stay here too.
