This is a beautiful historic city near Rio de Janeiro’s city. In the past, it used to be the city where the Portuguese people reunited all the Brazilian gold to take to Portugal in the ships. The city is fun, alive and it’s a UNESCO World Heritage. There are many good restaurants and bars. I recommend you to try the “Restaurant Banana da Terra” where you can find delicious Brazilian typical food. The city is also famous for the day boats trip where you can rent a private boat for 100 euros and then visit beautiful islands and wild beaches. It takes 3 hours driving from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to Paraty.
Paraty is a small city in Rio de Janeiro’s state in Brazil. it has thousand little island and it just beautiful to sailing thought it. It is so wild and raw. There are a lot of monkeys, birds and different species of fish. I recommend you to get host in the main Villa and then rent a boat during the day. The water is really warm even in winter times. Highly recommended!
We had an INCREDIBLE day in this boat while we were traveling in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The boat had a real vegetable garden, a swing net and 3 floors. The kitchen was beautiful painted in the ceiling. It has 1 room and 1 bathroom. We paid only 150 dollars and it included a vegan barbecue. The owner who sailed us has an incredible vibe. If one day you are in Paraty, just search for “Junior Peixe Barco” and you will find it. 🎉
