The Andersen Museum was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Andersen (1805), the great Danish fairy tale writer (1805). The first half of the museum is Andersen's works from various periods, manuscripts, correspondence, paintings, and oil paintings and sculptures of Andersen's life. The second half is the life and writing experience of Andersen in all stages of his life. There are libraries and video recording studios, where people pick up their receivers and hear Andersen's fairy tales. It feels like they are back in the 19th century.
