Hagia Sophia, completed in 537 AD, took 5 years and 10 months. It is one of the best examples of Byzantine architecture. Later, due to the change of history, Sultan Mehmet II turned the cathedral into a mosque, so the locals kindly called it "Aya Sophia Mosque." After becoming a mosque, we built four minarets that we now see. Although the four minarets look different, they are all called to summon believers to come to worship. The low-profile Hagia Sophia hides the inner things that make you marvel. Its beyond imagination. When you step in, look up, God! ! !
