Jinshan Temple

The ancient Linchuan has the reputation of "the hometown of talented people". The Jinshan Ridge, where the Jinshan Temple is located, is beautiful and picturesque. Wang Anshi, a famous minister of the Song Dynasty, wrote poems to praise it twice. Jinshan Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty, and there were more than 500 monks at its peak. However, since the Song Dynasty, Jinshan Temple has been destroyed several times. In 1936, a Hunan monk named Pujing Fa) came here to set up a tent for diving. Later, the monk Ni Huiwu (now the abbot of the Jinshan Temple, the old master Yinkong and the squires worked hard to rebuild; the ancient temple was built on the top of the Jinshan Mountains in the following year. After the liberation of the country, the incense of the golden temple was flourishing. Daxiong Hall, Pilu Hall, King Kong Hall, Avalokitesvara Hall, Dizang Hall, Weituo Hall, Jialan Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Qi Hall, Zen Hall, Guest Hall, Library, Sutra Building, Teaching Building, etc. The library has a rich collection of books. The Buddhist College has a series of modern electronic teaching equipment. It is known as the "Buddhist City". Jiangxi Nizhong Buddhist College was founded in 1994. There are more than 80 monks who come from more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
