It only costs 30,000 VND to enter this fascinating museum, filled to the brim with well put together exhibits documenting the role of women in Vietnamese culture over the centuries. Of the four floors there is one dedicated to the work that women did during the 'American War' in the 1970s, and how they contributed to Vietnam's ultimate victory over the 'American evils'. There's a nice look into the expectation of the role of women within the family unit too, including how they are / were supposed to live before marriage. Truly a fascinating place to spend a couple of hours and learn more about Vietnamese culture.

This museum provides a detailed look at women's lives in Vietnam. It was extremely interesting to learn about how different life can be across the different regions/groups within the country.
Vietnamese woman is hard working because during the war, man forced to fight the war and woman stayed home to look after their child.
Very good a mustmust to see what the woman have to go through and been through over the years, I felt heart broken after reading some of the things, like the street woman that have to get up at 4am work until 7.30pm just so they can feed there children and sent them to school, most of of them work in the city and only see there kids may be once very two weeks for a few hours, they share rooms with 10 woman at a time to save the little money they get get off the street, I must say it change my mind and can see why they ask very one to buy off them
This is a museum with Vietnamese characteristics. You can learn about the history and cultural traditions of Vietnamese women here. Tickets are not expensive. If you have time and nowhere to go, you can come and see it. It is not recommended to come here.
