Jason2020Beautiful place, particularly the palace and Five Mudras Mandala - stunning places, don't miss them! It's the holiday so of course it was chaotic. The incessant beeping of battery cars and trains meant what should be a place of “serenity and tranquility” was totally negative. This place is unbelievably commercial, just for tourists and photographs. Visit during a quieter time and you will enjoy it much more. Definitely worth a look but don't expect to find peace here, in any shape or form. Beautifully designed.
Baitang Ecological Pak, located in Nanshijie in Suzhou is a place of picturesque. It has a beautiful lake, the largest water surface in the park, surrounded by trees, flower plants, other amenities for the visitors. There are also boating facilities for the visitors to enjoy the beauty of the lake. There is a long bridge accross the lake connecting the east and west scenic spots. Overall a great place for family outing.
It was a very wet and misty morning when I visited Huishan Forest Park, Wuxi. But that means fewer people and despite the many and steep steps, it was somewhat peaceful and quite relaxing to enjoy the views as I climbed the hill. The temples have seen better days but that gives them an air of authenticity. I'm sure there is much more to this place, sadly I didn't have time to fully explore it. Definitely worth a visit for a couple of hours.
I must say my first trip to Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province was an awesome experience. The weather was cool and the people were warm and friendly. I visited during the Labor Day holiday and despite the crowds I had a wonderful time. The pictures show my trip to Yuntai Mountain where you can get spectacular views of LianDao and the port.
Pingjianglu, known as the venice of the east is a popular tourist spot of Gusu district in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. This rich historical street has a number of alleys, a long canal, shops, and wells. When you will walk through some of the alleys, you will listen Pingtan, the Suzhou originated narrative music performs in Suzhou dialect. It will make you feel nostalgic. Every time I come here, I have the same feelings. Usually, during weekends this place is crowded with many tourists. You can visit here at any weekday if you don't like crowd. And don't think about holidays! You will even feel the breathing of others over your neck😂

Slender West Lake park in Jiangsu is a gorgeous scenic spot you should visit. You can either take a long walk around the lake, enjoying the scenery and cultural spots, or take a long and beautiful ride in the boats.
During spring, weather is nice and flowers make this park an outstanding location. There are many beautiful locations for the perfect picture. Although, during our visit the park was so crowded we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted it. Easy to realize many people travel from far away to visit this gorgeous lake.
Inside the park, there are so many special spots that will bring your attention, from the gardens to the white pagoda, boats decorations and blossomed trees, stone laying, bridges, architecture.. absolutely amazing. This place also holds strong cultural heritage and history.

A beautiful place with numerous scenic spot like hills, lake, tea garden etc. If you live or stay in Suzhou then you can cover this place within couple of hours and the distance from downtown is about an hour drive by car. Better to be there in the morning and return in the evening to see everything with satisfaction. Don't forget to try coffee while sitting outside the cafe and experience the tranquility of surroundings.
Tiger Hill, one of the must visiting places in Suzhou, China. From down town you have to go there by metro and taxi/bus, or direct taxi. There is a leaning pagoda on the top of a hill which is 48 meters high. There are also rocks and stones with calligraphy and a nice bonsai garden. You can find some snacks shop there and a live theater platform. You will remember the experience of visiting there.
So far I have been to two churches in Suzhou. This one is undoubtedly bigger with stunning scenic spot. It is located by the bank of beautiful Yangcheng lake of Suzhou, China. I didn't go inside the church but I was satisfied enough with the outside scenic view. If you see my captures you might get an idea about this place. From Suzhou downtown (Time Square) this place is about 30 mins drive by car. If you desire to see Suzhou city from bird's eye view then you can experience the helicopter ride which is within walking distance from the church.
