Lamu Museum

1. Located in the center of the town, there are two floors; 2. The exhibits are not very rich, but they are generally described to the ethnic minorities in the nearby area; 3. Lamu Island is famous for wood carvings, so you can also find some early wood carving furniture in the museum; 4. Some Chinese and Middle Eastern ceramics can also be found in the museum, which proves that this place was once a stop on the Maritime Silk Road; 5. The ticket is a Chase ticket with the Ramu Fortress, 500 shillings, about ￥33 yuan.

Just beside the pier, I saw it at once. The tickets are 400Ksh (including tickets for the Lamu fort Ram fort), which is worth going because you can understand the pure Swahili and Muslim culture. There are two cannons at the entrance of the museum, which was left when it was against the Portuguese aggression. The museum has two floors plus a roof terrace, the first floor is a variety of furniture, antiques, and the second floor has a wedding exhibition area, which details the front and back of the wedding.
