🇸🇮Landmark of Slovenia : Dragon Bridge🐉
Attraction: Dragon Bridge
Location: Resljeva cesta 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia
Direction: 10 minutes walk from City Center
This is a significant bridge in Slovenia, located in Ljubljana , the capital city. This 33.3 meters long bridge was built in the beginning of the 20th century, when Ljubljana was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Dragon bridge was also one of Europe's earliest reinforced concrete bridges and the first such bridge in Ljubljana. It was the first bridge in Slovenia to be paved with asphalt. This is a place where many tourist will come and take pictures with.📸

We visited Ljubljana in September and found it to be one of the loveliest old towns in Europe. Loved Ljubljana! Beautiful area!
In the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, if you are driving, you can also go to Lake Bled.
Basically, I am looking at the old town, so it is recommended to live next to the old town.
Mainly look at Longqiao, Sanqiao, drink a cup of coffee by the bridge, and the City Square can also take a walk.
Take the Dragon Bridge, then go to the castle to enjoy the sunset, take a panoramic view of the city, the castle can take the cable car, but not high, so it is recommended to take a one-way trip, round trip is 4 euros, one-way 2.2 euros, the castle has a voice explanation, However, it is open-ended. If you are interested, you can buy tickets and explain the form. You can buy them on the mountain. In order to save time, I took the cable car up the mountain and walked down the mountain. There are signs on the walkway. It is not big. Look carefully. In the small alley next to the cable car, it will take 10 minutes to walk. It is not high, and the road is not difficult to walk. .
There is a Chinese restaurant, the taste is OK, just near the town hall.
Ps Slovenia needs a Schengen visa.

Ljubljana Castle 🏰

My visit to Ljubljana Castle in Slovenia was an enchanting experience that offered a perfect blend of history and modernity. Perched on a hill overlooking the charming city of Ljubljana, this castle is a true symbol of the capital.
Exploring the castle's well-preserved medieval architecture and exhibits was a journey through time. The castle's interactive museum displays and the iconic dragon motif of Ljubljana left a lasting impression.
The highlight of my visit was ascending the castle's tower for a panoramic view of the city. The breathtaking vistas of Ljubljana's red-roofed old town and the lush green surroundings were simply magical.
Ljubljana Castle also offers a delightful dining experience at its restaurants, making it a perfect spot to relax and savor traditional Slovenian cuisine.
Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking stunning views, Ljubljana Castle is a must-visit destination that captures the essence of Slovenia's capital. #slovenia #ljubljana
Dragon unfolds the Ljubljana Castle story
Ljubljana Castle, located in Slovenia's capital city, has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times. Over the centuries, it has served as a Roman fortress, a medieval stronghold, and a symbol of power for various ruling dynasties. The castle has witnessed multiple architectural transformations and played a significant role in the city's development. Today, it stands as a popular tourist destination, offering panoramic views, cultural exhibitions, and historical insights into Ljubljana's past.
In the heart of Ljubljana, where legends dance,
Stands the castle proud, in its majestic stance.
As the bronze dragon from the bridge I gaze,
Witnessing history unfold, through timeless days.
From battlements high, I survey the land,
Where kings and queens once held their command.
Through centuries of change, my watch remains,
A sentinel perched, amidst ancient remains.
Oh, Ljubljana Castle, a tale I tell,
Of knights, and conquests, where stories dwell.
May your walls endure, through ages untold,
As I guard the bridge, a witness bold.

Ljubljana Zoo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Ljubljana Zoo 🐘🦒🦏
#2024wish
Just had the most enchanting day at Ljubljana Zoo! 🐾🌿 Tucked away in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, this zoo is a delightful oasis of nature and wildlife. 🇸🇮 The entrance fee was quite affordable, around €8 for adults, making it a budget-friendly excursion for families and animal enthusiasts. 🎟️💰
The zoo is nestled within the lush surroundings of the city's scenic Rožnik Hill, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. 🏞️🌳 As you stroll through the park, you'll encounter a fascinating array of animals from around the world. 🦁🐼🐒 From majestic big cats to playful primates and exotic birds, there's something to captivate visitors of all ages. 🌍🐦
What sets Ljubljana Zoo apart is its emphasis on conservation and education. 📚🌱 Throughout the park, informative displays provide insights into the animals' habitats, behaviors, and the importance of wildlife preservation. 🦏🐆
One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to participate in feeding sessions and interactive experiences, which added an extra layer of excitement and engagement to the visit. 🥕👀 Plus, the zoo's dedication to animal welfare is evident in the well-maintained enclosures and the evident care for the animals' well-being. 🐾❤️
After exploring the zoo, be sure to explore other attractions in Ljubljana, such as the charming Old Town, the iconic Ljubljana Castle, or take a leisurely boat ride along the scenic Ljubljanica River. 🏰🚤 And don't forget to capture some memories with photos of the city's picturesque skyline! 📸✨ #LjubljanaZoo #NatureEscape #SlovenianAdventure

Ljubljana - picturesque, romantic city.
#timetotravel
I’m not sure what harder? Getting there or spelling the word? 😉 One thing for sure, I was captivated by its romantic, picturesque sights.
I was here on my long wkend stop over from Bled. I would say, it’s one of those cities I exceptionally adore.
Love the vibrance on days, and the serenity in the night. Although it may be enough to go around on a day trip, I highly suggest 2-3days to fully immersed the city.
Ljubljana-where the dragons live
A walkable city with great vibes, great food, passionate people, beautiful architecture, stories…. and of course, its protector, the dragons!

THE BEAUTY OF SLOVENIA
THE BEAUTY OF SLOVENIA
date: 20 July
going there: by flight
solo trip
Today is my lazy day in Prague, Czech Republic ... I suppose to visit Bohemian Switzerland National Park in Northern Czech today, located 2 hours from Prague ... but it's one of those day you just don't feel it 😅 ...
"Can I make it on time to catch a train?, Do I feel like hiking today?, What if the hiking trails is too hard for me, I don't have a suitable shoes, what if its raining? What if I get lost in the woods alone, urghh this bed is so comfortable... " 🙄 alasan bertengkek-tengkek ... Last2 aku jadi pemanas tilam je la hari ni. 😆
Before I came here, I spent a week in sLOVEnia ... As I said before this one is beautiful ... I should spend more time there ... Well ... there's always next time ... Late spring & summer should be great, when I can enjoy a longer daytime ... Yeah ... As much as I love autumn ... We only get more or less 8 hours of daylight a day ... Pukul 5 ptg tu dah bergelap dah ... I'm not saying it's limited ... But still, if you want to do an outdoor activities you better start super early in the morning. (Ermm no! ... I'm on vacation man ... Waking up late suppose to be part of it 😆)
Tarikan utama di Slovenia sudah tentunya pergunungan Alps & banyak tasik disekitarnya. Ljubljana, Bled, Bohinj & Triglav National Park adalah antara tempat yang aku lawati semasa di sana. Slovenia is a part of European Union, they use Euro as a currency and it has a modern infrastructure which you can use to reach any part of this country. I totally surprised that it seem almost everyone here can speak English fluently and people here are really polite and friendly to visitors, so I got no problem asking for help or directions.
Ljubljana is a small city ... You can pretty much explore it in a day. I like the laid back vibe of this city compared to hustle and bustle and touristy cities of other European countries. Many different nations and cultures have shaped Slovenia throughout the ages and they all have left some characteristic marks to this new independent country. Traveling in Slovenia is definitely cheaper compared to West or Central Europe and Scandinavian Countries. I only spent 10 euro a night for an accommodation, 3-10 euro for a meal and under 10 euro for a bus ride pretty much everywhere in Slovenia.
The highlight of my time here definitely my visit to Lake Bohinj and Triglav National Park. This place will take your breath away for sure! For me Slovenia may be a small country but it undoubtedly such a destination, and it will completely blow your mind once you start to explore it. 😎
PS: S❤️venia ... I'll be back 😘
