Tang Gongling is the tomb of Li Hong, the prince of Emperor Gaozong. Because Li Hong was still the crown prince when he died, he did not ascend the throne. He was also the first prince of the Tang Dynasty to be posthumously named emperor. The cemetery faces south, with a square plane and a length and width of 440 meters. The layout is very strict. On the side of the mausoleum, there is a stone tablet "Honoring Emperor Ruide" written by Emperor Gaozong himself. There are two large and small tombs in the cemetery. The large tomb is located in the west of the middle of the cemetery. It is the tomb of the emperor Li Hong. The sealing soil of the tomb is made of high-viscosity reddish-brown raw soil, which is hard and dense. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain for thousands of years, its height is still only 5 meters. There are 12 small mounds around the mausoleum, which are the gate towers and turrets of the past, surrounded by the original god wall, and the middle of the four god walls is equipped with a god gate. The Nanshen Gate is 30 meters wide, and 10 meters outside the gate, there are a pair of standing lions, three pairs of stone figures, a pair of Pegasus and Huabiao, and a pair of seated lions outside the other three gates.
