Songkou Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City is located in the northeast of Meixian District, in the lower reaches of the Meijiang River. It is a small basin surrounded by mountains and rivers. Since the merger of Songkou, Songdong and Songnan, it has become the largest town in Meixian District. Songkou is not only a thousand-year-old town, but also a place where Hakka people live.
