Mohan is connected to the Boding port in Laos, which is a first-class port between China and Laos. Mohan is a land frontier town at the southern end of China. In front of the Mohan port, there is a "ASEAN Avenue" with a very loud name. There are some beautiful two-story buildings on both sides, with people living above and shops below. Most of the products sold under the sign are daily necessities, which are far less prosperous than the hustle and bustle of the Sino-Vietnamese Hekou Port. However, this "ASEAN Avenue" is worthy of its name, it is really a convenient passage from China to ASEAN countries.
