What people are saying:

This is one of my favorite museums in the world. Dedicated solely to the Middle Ages, you aren't overwhelmed by too much too absorb. Instead, you are able to immerse yourself in the arts and culture of the 'Dark Ages,' which in itself is absurd once you grasp through this museum's treasures all the enlightenment that actually did occur during this marvelous time. Set in one of my favorite sections of Paris too.

    Unmissable and unforgettable tapestries.

Roomy and comfortable to visit this collection of Middle Ages artefacts is delightful and fascinating. But the 6 tapestries of the woman and the unicorn are breathtakingly beautiful. I would return an...

Additional Information

If you are an art lover who is visiting Paris, then the Musée de Cluny is one stop that you must include on your to-do list. This gorgeous, traditional Parisian building is an inspiring example of the architecture of Paris and the location is perfect - beside the famous Sorbonne University. In addition to examples of traditional French art, this museum houses authentic examples of weaponry and armor from medieval Europe. The most important attractions, however, are the original stone statues from the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Roman baths.
