Xianghu is known as the sister lake of West Lake. Everything surrounding the lake was incredibly stunning! Lush green plants, flowers, sporadic pavilions, bridges and the mountains! The scenic area is huge! It is not the famous place in Hangzhou. It located a little bit far from city center. Public transportation is not convenient. But it is not crowded like Xihu. On autumn it is very beautiful. If you come in mid November, you can see yellow tree. If you come in late November, you can see red tree.

Now let me share my strategy~ Shiyan Mountain has an altitude of 213 meters, and from its heights, you can take in the view of three rivers and a lake. The trails are super family-friendly, and watching the sunset at night is simply stunning! Depending on the difficulty of the route, I've found three ways to play: 1️⃣The easiest route, drive straight up the mountain. 🚗 Drive towards 'Yilan Pavilion', from the side road next to Kaiyuan Senbo (about 8 minutes to reach the top).
