Leaving the trestle, we started our adventure. Why is it an adventure? The original German castle was formerly the prison of Germany during the rule of Qingdao. Stepping into the old castle is the corridor of the cell locked by the iron gate, and there is no feeling of gloom. I had to imagine a possible TV episode: a dim walkway, a swaying candlelight and a squeaky noise in that corner.
