Liu's Residence is located in Xiwenxing Village, Tuwo Township, 25 kilometers southwest of Qinshui County. It covers an area of 4 square kilometers. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot, a famous historical and cultural village in China, and a national key cultural relics protection unit. In the fourth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1406), the descendants of Liu Zongyuan made a fortune by farming and studying. They built a literati residence in Wenxing Village, 25 kilometers southwest of Qinshui County. Its architectural craftsmanship is superb, its architectural style is unique, it integrates the essence of Ming and Qing architectural art, and integrates the north and south architectural styles. It reveals the essence of the social development from the "official and business" in the Ming Dynasty to the "business and official" in the Qing Dynasty. It is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese residential architectural art. Liu's residential buildings are divided into three parts. The east end of the village is the Waifu District, including Liu's Ci Hall, Yudi Temple, Confucian Temple, Paper Silk Building, Tianzi Hall, Holy Temple, Firewood House, and Left and Right Passing Pavilions; Street, small stage, Sima Di, Zhongxian Di, Wude Di, Chengde Di, Yinxiu Building, Tundaokou, Jingjing Pavilion, Guanhe Pavilion, Back Garden, Mansion Gate Tower, etc. The middle area is where the inner and outer mans meet. It is mainly the inner street composed of Wenchang Pavilion, school field, gatehouse outside the house and two tall and spectacular stone arches.
