Driving from Toronto, the time was a little late and the attraction was closed. There is a visitor center at the attraction and parking is available across the road. It is now being renovated and the appearance is not very clear. The mature apple trees in the yard are the most striking.



The house is being repaired, so it is closed to the public. Unfortunately, it was only vaguely mentioned in one section of the Park Service Canada website - it should be clearly stated on the home page of the house. I went on Victoria Day and they offered a very cheap half hour trip - $2.4 per person - great, because I live in this area, so not very disappointed. I booked a personal tour from Maya, Maya professional, provided a lot of information. The house and courtyard are beautiful and a lot of gardening is going on, loyal to history. I can see inside from many windows and it's not bad.
