The Confucius Temple and the Confucius Supervision Museum were built in the Yuan Dynasty, and are combined with the ancient system of "left temple and right school", which serve as the place where the emperor sacrificed Confucius and the highest school in the central region. Both sets of buildings are built along the central axis and have traditional Chinese architecture with left and right symmetry.
