Located at No. 10 Garden Road, the former residence of Chuang Lefeng was built in 1926 by a foreign architect, Bohurd. The building is situated in the East and west, with four floors of the main building. It is a German courtyard building. There are cloakrooms in the entrance hall. On the first floor, there are lobbies, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and ballroom. The second floor is surrounded by a corridor with railings, which overlooks the activities of the whole hall. The exterior eaves of the building are decorated in warm tones and the roof is imitative of the French Mansell style. The whole building is complete in composition, magnificent in appearance and exquisite in interior decoration. Zhuangle Feng, a native of Jiangsu Suanyang, was a well-known person in Tianjin industry in his early years. He was a director of Kailuan Coal Mine and the old British Ministry of Industry. He initiated and presided over fund-raising and built Tianjin Yaohua School.
