The Phi Phi Island group is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Phuket, Thailand, a sister island of two main islands, designated as Thailand National Park in 1983. It is a sunny place with a lot of Phi Phi shrimp. The Pippi Islands are composed of six islands, the largest of which are the Big Phi Phi and Little Phi Phi; the name of the Pippi Island is derived from the Malay Api-Api, meaning "fire", which is the name of the mangroves on the island by the ancestors
