National Historical Museum Review

The National Museum of History in Tirana is the most famous building here, and it is also a remnant of the Albanian socialist period. Over the museum is a very grand mural of workers, peasants and soldiers giving a very strong Soviet characteristics. It is also the most famous museum in Albania and worth a visit.

The National Museum of Albanian History is located on the north side of Scandebec Square, a typical Soviet-Russian building, and large murals show how the country of Albania has driven away aggression, national independence, and is definitely the most visible place in the square.

位于斯坎德培广场的西北，巨大的社会主义马赛克是它的标志。建筑方方正正，规模很大。展厅一开始按时间顺序展开，一楼围绕阿尔巴尼亚人的祖先，从史前讲到希腊、罗马，基本上阿英两种文字对照。然而到了二楼，从介绍中世纪和土耳其统治和阿尔巴尼亚人的反抗开始（重点在介绍他们的民族英雄斯坎德培），英文几乎就没有了。再往后，展厅的顺序也比较乱，路线不是一条道往前，而是要退回来，再去另外几个。有介绍阿尔巴尼亚独立、二次世界大战、阿尔巴尼亚民俗、宗教圣像专门展等等，后面这些二楼的展厅基本只能看图看展品来猜了，没有英文。回到一楼有卫生间。展馆内是禁止照相的，工作人员很少，也没有监控探头，基本靠自觉。好像没有中央空调，工作人员开着风扇猛吹。10点至17点开放，周一闭馆。门票200列克。

The National History Museum in Tirana is well worth visiting, the largest museum in Albania, which houses most of the country’s artifacts. In front of the museum is a mural depicting all the victories the country had achieved from the Elysian era to the Second World War, and it is really worth coming here.

When I first arrived at the square, I saw the National History Museum. This building was a little excited. I felt so familiar. It was exactly the same as the pictures and stamps I saw when I was a child. I didn't expect to have the opportunity to come to this country and stand here.
