Prasat Suor Prat Review

Twelve Pagodas (Prasat Suor Prat), also known as the Twelve Pagodas, are a series of temples across the Royal Square from north to south, with a total of 12, extending from the Victory Gate and arranged symmetrically. According to records, these towers are used to solve disputes between people. The towers were hidden in the jungle and were very conspicuous in the golden sun.

Opposite Lai Wangtai and the war elephant platform is the Twelve Zodiac Tower, which is very weathered. The reason why it is called the Twelve Zodiac Tower is because there are different animals carved on the tower, similar to the Chinese Twelve Zodiac Tower.

The buildings were scattered across the Elephant Terrace, and it was not known what the buildings were for when they were visited. It was later known that they represented the zodiac. The biggest feature of these buildings is that the appearance is red, although scattered, but there seems to be a rule layout opposite the Royal Palace. However, most of them are badly damaged, and it is difficult to find the glory of the year.

This row of towers opposite the Terrace of Elephants adds a nice atmosphere to the clearing. On their own they are a little run down, but worth a quick stop to check them out.

I believe many people will pass by when they come to the Twelve Zodiac Tower, because his views and architectural style are not the most worth watching in the entire Angkor Wat. But I guess it stayed here for a long time, the first reason is because I was too hot when I walked here, and continued to rest in the shade, and there was a big tree here, and there was a hammock under the big tree, which allowed me to lie here for a while. Second, the whole building was restored by Japan, and there are always some details worth taking a look at. Finally, there is the tranquility here, and my favorite during the tour is still tranquility.

In the jungle east of Douxiangtai, there are twelve Brown towers with different shapes, built with stones. These towers, which were built at the end of the twelfth century, belong to Baiyun architectural style. Its architectural layout is ten towers arranged one by one, and the remaining two towers form right angles with straight towers, which are like guardians'elephant-fighting platform for guardians of hillocks.
