Located in Conak Square, it was built in 1901 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sultan's succession of Abdul Hamid II. The clocks and watches were part of a gift from the German Emperor William II. Since then, Greece has occupied it, and in 1919 it was next to the Bell Tower. Turkey fired its first shot at Greece, witnessing this exciting historical picture of the Bell Tower, which is now the landmark of the city.
