Mate Island, 3 km west of Helsinki city center, is located in the center of the lake, connected to the land by a white wooden bridge. The island is lush with green grass and pleasant scenery. We have a walkway along the lake and it is a very good oxygen bar. There were wild ducks by the lake, beautiful pigeons walking around the crowd, and we saw little squirrels, cleverly and unsuspectingly, bouncing around the forest.

On the eve of Midsummer, residents will celebrate the arrival of the longest day of the year by setting fires on the beaches of the island. The island is home to houses of various periods, first built in the 18th century AD. It is a popular leisure resort for Helsinki citizens.
