One of Australia’s best war memorials, the Shrine of Remembrance is a moving museum dedicated to those lost in all the conflicts Australia has fought in since its foundation. Melbourne’s iconic landmark, located next to the Botanical Gardens, the Shrine of Remembrance wouldn’t look out of place in the centre of London with its classical architecture. Free to visit, a highlight of the museum is the last post which is played every day at 5pm to remember the dead.
