The rice paddy walk takes you through the landscapes of rural Ubud and takes about 45 minutes to walk, one way. The trail starts behind the Clear Café in the north of Ubud, and finishes in the same rice paddy fields where Eat, Pray, Love starring Julia Roberts was filmed. The hike isn’t too strenuous, but there is little shade on the trail, so avoid walking it in the middle of the day. Bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.

calming and peaceful place for you to escape from the busy town Ubud. I have been here twice with my friends, I enjoyed my walk here every single time. great place for people to walk their dogs, as well s jogging. if you can’t find a place to watch sunset, come to this rice field walk to watch sunset with your lovers

nice walk with nice rice paddy fields. we saw the locals farming the rice, very interesting. there are small shops along the way where you can get some local souvenirs.

It’s also very interesting to walk on the edge of the small village here.
