Outside the west gate of the King Angkor City, in the center of the West Pool, about 11 kilometers northwest of Siem Reap, built in the second half of the 11th century, Hindu, worshiping Vishnu. The site of the Simei Ben Temple is located on the central island of Xichi, one of Angkor's most important water projects, the world's largest artificial pool. It was originally dedicated to a huge performance of Vishnu's bronze statue of rest in the water of the universe. The bronze statue has now been moved to the National Museum in Phnom Penh. There are boats on the south bank of Xichi to get to the island.
