xiaofish76021If you come to Western Australia, you must not miss a stop. When the weather is good, it's a paradise on earth, and all photos are postcards. If you catch up with bad weather, the beautiful scenery will be greatly inferior. It is recommended to check the weather and modify the travel plan according to the actual situation. However, you can also learn from me and plan the last 2 days to increase the probability of encountering good weather. During the two days we were on the island, our character exploded, the sky was beautiful every day, and we saw countless small animals along the way. Of course, one of the highlights of this trip to this island is to meet the "island owner Quokka" (wallaby). Why is it called the owner of the island? Because this island is named after this little kangaroo, "Rottnest means mouse nest", so this island is also called Mouse Island. This cute little creature with a smile is not afraid of people at all, but because of being misunderstood as a "rat" and experiencing the cruel game of "dwarf kangaroo football" invented by sadists, a large number of them have been tortured and killed. There are less than 10,000 living on this island. This island has always been a playground for local families in Perth. It is only 19 kilometers away from Fremantle. There are no cars here, and it is exquisite. It is surrounded by beaches. It takes about 22 kilometers to ride around the island. It takes about 5 minutes to ride and play -7 hours. The most people choose to go back and forth on the same day, take the first boat to come, and the last boat back, and spend 6-7 hours on the island. If you want to see more beautiful scenery and experience it slowly, the best way is to stay for one night.
Amanda KendleOne of my favourite places in Western Australia, I love that it's a quick trip from Perth and once you're there it's peaceful and calm. Best to stay overnight rather than just do a day trip, because the real calm happens once the last ferry goes and the day trippers are gone.
D44***71A magnificent park with amazing views of Perth City. Take a picnic and sit on the grass all day until the sun goes down. A hive of activity in the late afternoon with joggers, picnickers, dog walkers, and families sitting on the beautiful lawns. Take a short walk to the glass bridge with lovely views of the Swan river. Top notch facilities with drinking water fountains and clean bathrooms.
快乐鱼仙This is the iconic building of Fremantle. It is the earliest prison in Perth. It is probably because of its white exterior wall and round diamond-shaped structure that make this building very unique and worth seeing!
星辰游记Fremantle Prison, as the only world cultural heritage in Western Australia, is still worth seeing. There are many different guided routes you can choose according to your preferences and your physical condition.
翱翔的大鲨鱼In the evening, the sea breeze is blowing to the lazy music of Bossa Nova, and there are several stalls of exotic food and handicrafts.
From Thai cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Moroccan, Mexican, Turkish, various salty and sweet exotic cuisines, we are dazzled, difficult to choose, and want to eat everything.
In the end, we ate Moroccan cuisine, Big Mac lamb chops, and Thai-style stir-fried rice noodles. The salty Moroccan spices are too much to my stomach.

QUOKKAS - THE HAPPIEST ANIMALS IN THE WORLD?
Quokkas, apart from a tiny colony on the Western Australia mainland, they are found only at Rottnest Island, nowhere else on Earth!
These tiny lovely wild animals are said to be the happiest animal in the world! It´s thanks to their wide smile they present on their faces all the time and their friendliness.
Quokkas are related to wallabies - small-sized kangaroos and they live in a big colony on Rottnest Island. They have almost no fear of humans and often they will come right up to you!:) Despite their friendly behaviour, please respect the fact, they are wild animals and it´s prohibited to touch them or feed them!
Firstly, it´s dangerous for quokkas to eat humans food as well as get in touch with humans bacteria. Both can be deadly for these little creatures. Secondly, although Quokkas are very friendly, they can bite if feeling threatened.
Rottnest Island is the perfect little getaway from the busy life of Perth. You can do just a one day trip or you can easily spend there a few nights.
Rottnest Island covers 19km² and is just 18 kilometers off the coast of Western Australia. From Perth, it takes only 25 minutes by ferry from Fremantle Port or 45 minutes by ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour.
How much does it cost to go to Rottnest Island?
The price is vary depending on which company you will use, but generally speaking, it's around 70 AUD per person one way and 100 AUD return with landing fee included. Rotto is a car-free zone, so there are no cars whatsoever. You can walk, use a tourist bus or rent a bicycle and ride around.
To ride around the entire island took us around 3 hours, but with stops for a dip in crystal clear waters, you will definitely need more time!

Surrounded by tropical beaches and crystal clear bays, it is considered by many to be a paradise for people who have peace of mind and clear water. Snorkeling, diving, fishing, and surfing attract people to come here, and riding around the island is a highlight!
"Wife 2" also came to Lotnes Island, there is a parachute base on the island, a paradise for adventurers! Accompanied by professionals, you can jump from the height of 7000 meters, and take a bird's eye view of the island and the blue waters of the blue sea. It is worthwhile to challenge! A little bit of people can also take a seaplane and then overlook the most beautiful seawater ~
on the island bicycle around the island, is the biggest feature here. Rottnest Island is famous for its natural carvings, and foreign cars are completely banned. The azure sea, the white sandy beach and the transparent air are all inseparable from the joint maintenance of the scenic spots and tourists.
I live near here, riding around the island almost every day, and watching the sunset from sunset to sunset is the most beautiful. When riding to a cliff, stop and punch in the photo. This is the most comfortable life in Western Australia.
Look! Big mouse! There are still many people who love and become the mascot of this small island in western Australia!
Rotness Island, which is half an hour's drive from Perth, is a paradise for Western Australia, with cute short-tailed kangaroos (yes, the belly of the big mouse in the lens can feed the baby like a kangaroo), with pink The romantic lake, where you can ride to dive, you can also do a speedboat to stimulate the island tour, sea lion dolphins and rows of sailboats become a postcard landscape.
Rotto was originally discovered by Dutch explorers.
Rottnest Island is a long and narrow island, about 11 kilometers long. Rottnest Island is separated from the Australian mainland by the rising sea level. The entire coastline of Rottnest Island is full of beautiful white sand beaches. The sea is very clear and very suitable for snorkeling. Rottnest Island is a short-term holiday destination. There are 63 beautiful white sand beaches on the island, and there is no car disturbing tranquility, so it is very popular among locals. After you arrive, you can rent a bike or take a hop-on free hop-off bus. Of course you can also take a kayak to the secluded bay, snorkeling or diving in the coral reefs and ancient shipwrecks. Surfers will love the waves of Strickland Bay, Salmon Bay and Stark Bay.
Want to go around and explore the hidden beaches and mysterious surf spots on the other side of the island, the best way is to rent a bicycle. Remember to look at the short-tailed kangaroo, the name of this island is inspired by this cute marsupial. The island was once an aboriginal prison and therefore has a fascinating history, including many early colonial buildings, a lighthouse and many tunnels worth exploring.
Located in Rottnes Island, Western Australia, there is a group of cute elves - short-tailed kangaroos waiting for you to find.
Train Raiders: 16 stops from Perth to Fremantle, the starting point to the end of the Fremantle line. I thought it would take an hour to arrive. The original shift was divided into A/B lines, which were docked at the first half of the station and the second half of the station. The flight we took started at the next stop in city west, starting from Swanbourne starting with Zone2. Stop at the station and arrive at Fremantle in less than half an hour.
Fremantle's Wharf: B-SHED, Rottnest Express can also depart from Barrack St in Perth, along the Swan River, and then stop at Fremantle's two piers to reach the island of Rats.
With your printed ticket, of course you can also buy tickets on the spot, the boat will be on time, you can get on the boat after the staff scans, it is recommended to sit on the lower floor, because it will be bumpy, very upside, a lot on board People holding bags!
No private vehicles are allowed on the island. The only transport that can be used is bicycles or buy round-the-island bus tickets.
Visitor Center (next to the pier) buy a round-the-island bus ticket (20 knives for adults, 8 knives for children), 30-40 minutes, remember to take the timetable. Exit the visitor center and turn right toward the sea. Follow the slope and walk for 5-6 minutes to see a large pavilion.
