Magical Moment at Penguin Paradise
At Boulder Beach in Cape Town, a magical moment unfolded as I walked along the sandy shores, surrounded by charming African penguins. The comical waddle of these adorable creatures, coupled with their playful antics, created an atmosphere of joy and wonder. The backdrop of weathered boulders and the rhythmic sounds of the ocean completed the scene, making it a #awesomepic #couplestrip

Penguins and more 🐧
African penguins are named as such as they are the only ones breeding on the African continent.
But how can penguins, most commonly known as breeding on ice, be found under the hot sun of Africa? They can do this as they feed in the cold waters of the Benguela upwelling current, which is a very rich system but very cold too. On land they cope with the warmer climate by burrowing, emerging at dusk and dawn, and using the pink glands above their eyes to cool the blood down. They can also increase their heat loss by holding the flippers away from the body, so both surfaces of the flippers are exposed to air, releasing heat.
African penguins don't have feathers on their legs and have bare patches on their faces where excess heat can be heat. #beachlife #capetown #southafrica #penguins
Foxy Beach Penguin watching Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The first time I saw a penguin, it was not in the South Pole, nor in Madagascar, but in South Africa.
Simon Town, Cape Town, South Africa, some of the world's cute animals, penguins, they lived here since childhood, the beach has become their place, tourists are not allowed to approach. Now a few meters away, I can still feel their cuteness, each one is a pair of feet and used to walk, it is almost possible to make people come.

Boulders penguin sanctuary
#summerbreak
The Boulders Penguin Sanctuary can be found about one hour (by car) from the CBD area of Cape Town.
It is a protected site to help conserve the penguins and is a great family attraction. You can walk on the boardwalks above the penguins to observe them without interrupting them. There is also a special area for the baby penguins that are growing up. There are lots of information stands around as well as a gift shop and toilets. #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer

Boulders Beach, just outside Cape Town, has so much going for it you will be blown away by the beauty of the small hidden attraction. The sheltered inlet of Boulders Beach is located in the Cape peninsula near Simon's Town. Here exists a protected colony of African penguins which can be viewed in their natural habitat via wooden walkways. There is also an excellent beach for swimming nearby.#penguin #capetown
Meeting all the penguins on the beach in Cape Town should be on your bucketlist!
Seeing penguins in the natural environment is much more comfortable than in a cage. The sidewalks are great for watching penguins in the jungle and beaches. Although overcrowded, it does not affect everyone's mood to watch the penguins. There is a little penguin who completely ignores human beings. When he wants to walk into the crowd, several children follow along the way, so that the power of the wild will restrain their hands from touching or hugging. For animal lovers, this is a very unique experience.
Returning to the Cape Town from the Cape of Good Hope, you can get close to the penguins at Foxy Beach in Simon's Town, which can only be found on the coastline of southern Africa (South Africa and Namibia). It is said that these penguins are currently on the verge of extinction, only about 2,000, so the penguins are protected by Cape Nature Conservation
