The Solarsack Temple is located within the city walls of the northern Sukhothai, near Tapa. The temple is known for its elephant base. On the land, the original purpose was to build a temple dedicated to the governor, whose uncle was invited to live in.
Solarsake Temple is in the north of the ancient city. It is similar to the Qunxiang Temple. It is also supported by many elephants on the base, but the scale is smaller than the Qunxiang Temple, and the elephant sculpture is relatively complete. There are seven elephants on one side, a total of 24.
Wat Sorasak was founded in the time of the Kingdom of Sukhothai during the reign of Sailuethai.In 1955 a stone inscription was discovered by the Fine Arts Department.
