"A nice little square in the heart of London. The square was getting cleaned when I was there, so not many people, but usually a major place for people to visit."

"I wandered onto Oxford Street on complete accident. It has beautiful photographic "aesthetics", with the old buildings, flags blowing in the wind, and pastel colors in the sun. It's a lovely place just to walk around. Shops are a bit on the luxury side, but pretty nonetheless."

"Went up the shard with my children and it was fantastic. There were two lifts to get you to the viewing area then you can walk up slightly higher but it was cold right at the top so we went back down to where the glass protects you.Expensive but glad we have done it.Apparently you can go up the mobile building opposite to a secret rooftop garden for free, so will look into doing that next time!"

"Unfortunately I did not see Hugh Grant, but nonetheless Notting Hill is such a cute and quaint town. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of London to see what every other English town looks and feels like. This is a great city for any travelers. There were a ton of families and couples throughout and gave you that cozy, homey feeling throughout the town. The markets have the most unique art that you can't find anywhere. Notting Hill is definitely worth the day trip."

"History of 10 Downing Street - 10 Downing Street, the locale of British prime ministers since 1735, vies with ... of the most important and valuable in London – and the natural home of power.George Downing gave his name to the most famous street in the world. It is unfortunate that he was such an unpleasant man. Able as a diplomat and a government administrator, he was miserly and at times brutal. However, George Downing was responsible for the street, its name and the building we know today. A former diplomat at The Hague serving the Commonwealth, he changed allegiance with finesse. He traded enough secrets to gain a royal pardon in March 1660 and, by the Restoration in May 1660, to be rewarded with a knighthood."
