From the west to the east, the Lijiang River separates Wenzhou City and Yongjia County. This is the second largest river in Zhejiang Province, entering Wenzhou from the sea. There is a small island in Jiangxin in the Minjiang River. It was already very famous during the Tang and Song Dynasties and was called Jiang Xinyu.
Jiang Xinyu is one of the four famous islands in China. It is also known as Xiamen Gulangyu, Dongshanmenyuyu, and Taiyu County, Taiwan. It is named because Zheng Chenggong trained on these four islands, but before Zheng Chenggong, The reputation of Jiang Xinyu has been passed down for a long time.
Without the reputation of Xiamen Gulangyu and the crowded tourists, Jiangxinyu is also leisurely, half of the river separates the island and the noisy downtown, it seems to be a paradise.
Tang Xiantong seven years (866), built Puji Temple in Dongshan, Jiangxin Island. In the first year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1131), Song Gaozong changed the Puji Temple to Longxiang Temple. Because of the temple, it is commonly known as "Jiangxin Temple."
The existing Jiangxin Temple was rebuilt in the fifty-fourth year of Qing Emperor Qianlong (1789), and the incense was quite strong. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, the temples, stupas, lofts, pavilions, and famous poets Xie Lingyun, Meng Haoran, Han Yu, Lu You, Wen Tianxiang, etc. have successively built Jiangxinyu.
The island has dense vegetation and beautiful scenery. There is a playground in the west. There are many places of interest in the east. The island is small and it is all about walking. The ancients asked the poems of the landscape: "Jia Xia green shade, south smoked pipa, the world is full of heat, this is the cool world.

you have to get there by a 5 minute ferry ride but 30rmb gets you access to the entire island. There is a great Buddhist temple on the island that is connected to some great trinket shops as well as a really good restaurant too and not to mention all of the great sights of the Jiangxin Pagoda and other cools things to walk around that are quite picturesque
if you ever have the chance to goto Wenzhou, this is the best and most efficient way to see a piece of old China unlike you have never seen before.

Very cool place, lovely views and clean park.
It is very beautiful and aesthetic. Food options are very limited and pricy. The bonsai garden is a must see.
