Wenzhou Grand Theater is located in the administrative center area of Wenzhou City, east of Century Square and north of Shifu Road. Together with museums, science and technology museums, and libraries, it forms a beautiful cultural corridor in the new urban area. The Grand Theater was carefully designed by the internationally renowned architect, Mr. Carlos Ott from Canada. The architect took the waterscape with unique regional characteristics in the Jiangnan region of my country as the starting point, and the exquisite idea was taken from the golden carp in the pond. The gorgeous appearance is composed of sloping side walls, which form a kind of musical rhythm; the interlacing of solid walls and virtual glass creates a unique sense of rhythm in music; The dynamic beauty is generated under the balanced interaction of the roof; the dreamy golden exterior wall adds to the elegant temperament of the building. The main facilities of the Grand Theater include a 1,425-seat (lock-in included) luxurious opera hall, a 664-seat (lock-in included) elegant concert hall and a 150-seat multifunctional small theater. The Grand Theater is equipped with a mechanical automation stage with smooth and reasonable process design, and a prop room, dressing room, waiting room, etc., which are closely related to the performance, are arranged on the same floor of the stage plane. In addition, there are ballet rehearsal halls, high-end VIP halls, exhibition halls, Chinese and Western restaurants, coffee shops, and souvenir shops.
