Large park which looks out to the sea wall. From here you can relax and watch see Cubans rollerskating around the monuments. Grab a bench and take in the view and people watch.
The statue is like every statue you would see. Very detailed and holds a lot of history and such. But the statue is in a park with 0 shade or anything else to do but to walk on.
This monument is almost like the landmark that you are in new Havana. It's on the middle of the thoroughfare .. almost like a roundabout. It's a beautiful tribute and cannot be missed when in New Hava...

Nice Stop along the Macron
