Great service and location. Would recommend. Rooms are slightly dated but perfectly comfortable.

Being a solo traveller (I wrongly booked for 2) I was “upgraded” to a room in the top floor with a window that looked into all kind of machines, I didn’t feel comfortable there. Besides there are some metro construction works that make it a bit difficult to reach the place. It’s a 20 minutes distance from Gateway of India but for the price I paid I wasn’t expecting such a 2/3 stars hotel. Breakfast just normal, nothing great

Super friendly and funny staff. Breakfast was fresh and good too. The rooms are quite small (as expected) but not to clean. There was a cockroach in the shower.

Pros: 5-star service from a very friendly staff and a stellar breakfast! Fort location is great for tourists. Cons: Rooms in the hotel are not well-maintained, and not a great value for money.

The room is good but not good at soundproofing. Because during the stay there was a road being built. may be loud But the accommodation is not far from tourist attractions.

The service here was great, timely, friendly and professional very helpful with booking cars, storing luggage, laundry service and all kinds of questions. Thanks to Rajesh and everyone at the front desk and all staff! Breakfast service was great too, food and coffee very good.

The hotel staff are second to none. Kimd. Friendly. Helpful. Area is walkable and so many interesting shops and delicious restaurants. Breakgast in the restaurant is always great. Kesar makes and doews foam art on cappuccinos! Rakesh the concierge, is so kind you will not want to leave. Try Annas Idly restaurant. You cant go wrong staying at the Residency Hotel.

Hotel is 10 minutes from Mumbai cruise terminal and located central to many shopping and tourist hubs. You can walk in all directions and will find things. The Crawford market is about 20 mins walk All hotel staff are helpful and service was impeccable all around. They can exchange currency there. Breakfast was good too. They work hard to keep the hotel clean and enjoyable. There is also elevator. Reception staff (Peter +) really nice folks and F& Bev staff are excellent. Keep it up guys and Thank you. Really good standard of accommodation in superb position for walkable trips around Mumbai tourist areas. Metro works nearby to the hotel are on going but didn't really affect sleep. Helpful and friendly staff and the section that we were in (next door to the main entrance, so rooms start with a 7), had recently been refurbished. Try nearby Burma Burma for a too notch meal.

The staff was so incredibly helpful. We had 2 serious issues, one with a tour and one with our next hotel. The staff made calls for us and helped us understand what needed to be done. When we went for a local dinner, a staff member took us 2 blocks to the restaurant and spoke with the owner to treat us well. We had to leave our bags when we left for the tour and they kept them safe and took them to our room when it became ready. Concierge Rajesh was exceptionally helpful many times. They worked harder to help us and make us feel comfortable in a very different environment than we're used to. 5 star hotels have not done a much as they did. If we ever in Mumbai again, we will for sure book here.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are exceptional - friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is walking distance or easy taxi/rickshaw to shopping, cafe's, restaurants, and sight-seeing locations. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and they have a coffee machine! Free newspaper and afternoon tea. They can exchange money, cheap laundry next door, help with getting taxi's and airport pick up/drop off.

Dirty room, given room in another building where you could just push the front door open. Kicked off breakfast table before finishing. Not sure how the reviews are this high, must have dropped off a cliff recently

Residency’s reception staff – Lawrence, Peter, Sushant, Mr.Patil, Toral & others are extremely accommodating. The Hotel's motto is 'Come as a guest, leave as a friend' & while leaving, I did feel I was waving goodbye to a friend! Keshav’s addressing me Madamji and waiting on me from day1 at breakfast time & evening Masala Chai times was service with a smile & a good heart! Balwant too was a gem! The Complimentary breakfast with Chef Girish in charge is indeed very sumptuous & caters for all tastes & appetites. I mustn’t forget the ever helpful & courteous Rajesh - If you needed transport, Rajesh would very kindly help you book it or hail it! Room necessities like loo rolls, fresh towels, bottles of water were always readily available thanks to cleaners Saahil & Shivam! I could have stayed with relatives but I wanted to experience Mumbai as a tourist and Residency proved to be the right choice for me for a comfortable, safe & a very happy stay; a longer stay than most guests – 14 days!
