Whenever I visit Shanghai, I book this hotel. It’s perfect. There was even a concert / festival going on across the street this stay.

Not good enough….The hotel is in a good location and has a decent breakfast , the area where the breakfast is served is quite charming. The hotel is big, but very dated looks like it was a big hotel in the 80s or 90s and hasn’t updated the style since. The rooms are not very big and the decor is tired. The hotel staff is not very friendly, quite the opposite, especially front desk. The cooking staff from breakfast is lovely though,l. The swimming pool is not great, the water is very cold. Too pricey for what it offers, even for Shanghai prices.

Nice hotel close to Jingan subway station, just a few minutes of walk away. Nice spa area with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and small pool. Clean and well maintained. Check in was slow.

Awesome service both room and dinning. Nice view from executive lounge as well.

We stay here a lot we love it. It is convenient, the breakfast buffet has a great range of food, the staff are attentive, the beds are great and the views are amazing. The executive lounge has an array of food and drinks which are just right for afternoon tea or a snack or wine after dinner. We will be back again.

An unexpected pleasant surprise located in an amazing part of Shanghai which enables travelers of all sorts to access anything or anywhere in the cosmopolitan city.

Hotel situated in the French concession area; perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful city. Our room had a magnificent view - beds very comfortable and enough space to store our things. Breakfast has huge variety - all staff very helpful and good atmosphere.

Excellent location! Hotel felt a bit stuffy because of the rugs as my stay was during a warm time but nothing too egregious. Breakfast buffet was okay with a good enough variety. Cleaning staff was really friendly!

Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located next to Jingan subway Station, near Jing an Temple, shopping malls, shopping streets, and the French Concession. Easy for taxi drivers to find. More than sufficient nice dining options around the hotel. And located next to a Lawsons. The hotel is friendly staffed and the hotel rooms offer great views over the city. The interior of the hotel rooms are a little outdated but nevertheless they are well-equipped, clean and well-maintained.

The room is elegant and the king bed very comfortable. The location in the heart if Jing'an Temple is convenient for bars and restaurants. Breakfast is a bit pricy.

Always stay here when in Shanghai. Good location in Jingan whilst also close enough to Shanghai Airport, especially when arriving late. Staff are always excellent with excellent English. There is a small but suitable gym, not perfect but has enough for a half decent workout.

This is my third stay at the Kunlun. It's a really well priced quality hotel. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast this stay, I felt like the quality had gone down a little. During peak time (around 9-9:30am) the food in a number of areas had been eaten and not replenished. The service in the bar downstairs was a bit slow, it took a really long time to make the cocktails on both afternoons we visited. Having said that, the caipirinhas were delicious! The staff are always lovely, especially in housekeeping. This is a really good hotel to use as a base for weekend visits in Shanghai.

Breakfast was okay, but there were not enough seats. People have to wait on line to find a seat. Room very outdated with an oldschool bath/shower combination. Front office staff was very friendly during check-in
