📍 Penida I really like Penida Island 🤩 It takes an hour to drive from the hotel to the pier and another hour to get to Penida by boat (The last picture was taken on the boat) It was raining heavily on the boat, the clouds were dense, and my heart was cold Thinking that since I'm here, I might as well enjoy it, it's all an experience On the way to the first scenic spot by car The sky gradually cleared up, and the clouds faded away I saw the most beautiful Penida! #weekendgetaways Upon arrival, we are required to purchase a ticket to enter the compound. There was a huge crowd gathering at the start of the path down to the beach. As many of them are trying to get their ig worthy shot, the crowd gets lesser when you trek down. The trek down was quite tough with how small and steep the steps are. Nearing the beach, there's no steps. You are required to use a rope to climb down to the beach. Do not suggest wearing slippers as they don't give you a grip on the rock climbing part. There aren't many people at the beach, so enjoy yourself soaking in the water in the Bali heat. It was worth coming here.

Diamond Beach is located on the island of Nusa Penida, Indonesia. We were blown away by the turquoise waters, towering cliffs and unique rock formations. To make the 1 hr drive worth it, I decided to go down to the beach only to discover that it was not an easy descend. The steps were carved into the cliffside and it was steep. Ropes were used as handrails and to lower or pull oneself up. I was worried of getting injured but we reached the beach safely after 20 mins. Going back up was also 20mins and I was panting. If you are tight on time, skip the other attractions and visit this one as it is the most impressive beach i have seen from my holiday in Bali/Nusa Penida/Gili Islands. The walk to get there is quite tough and you have to be careful. The stairs are quite a challenge but any fit person can make it but with caution. There will be tons of people taking photos on the stairs so just keep an eye out. Definitely avoid it if it is raining as you could easily hurt yourself.

This is Diamond Beach, located on Nusa Penida Island is one of the best beaches you could find with a breathtaking view, white sand and clear blue water. To access the beach you have to go down a steep cliff, be sure to take care because it gets slippery as you go down. If you had to go somewhere on Nusa Penida, THIS IS IT. DIAMOND BEACH on the east side of the island. It costs a bit more since it takes an hour from the pier to get here. It's totally worth it. We did the whole bali tour and went to numerous spots. This was our favorite. It does have an entry fee of 25k each ($2) and parking for 5k (.33 cents). There are free swings at the top that faces another side of the cliff that reminded me of what you see at Kelingking Beach and an overlook of Diamond beach. So if you're strapped on time and money, just do this one. Most people stop at the top to take photos, so get there early and avoid the lines. I went all the way to the bottom and was surprised that I had to climb down using a rope the last 20 feet. Getting There - From the main pier in Bali it takes 30 minutes with a boat to get to Nusa Penida the beautiful island in the east of Bali. From the main pier you can reach the Diamond Beach Viewpoint with a motorcycle within 40 minutes. It takes around 15-25 minutes to hike down to the Beach depending on your pace and endurance.
