Friedrichstraße is located on the west side of Gendarmenmarkt, and along this street all the way to the south is Unter den Linden, so it must be one of the classic places you have to visit in Berlin. Galeries Lafayette is here, as are Gucci and LouisVuitton stores. Friedrichstraße 90, a large cultural store called Du?mann, will surprise you whether you are a fan of classical music, pop, ethno-pop or jazz endlessly.
